These terms apply to all clients receiving psychotherapy or equine-assisted therapy services, whether virtually or in-person.
1. Nature of Services
Hanna’s Healing Hounds and Hooves, LLC offers:
* Individual, family, couples, and group therapy
* Equine-assisted psychotherapy
* Virtual telehealth sessions
* Holistic and trauma-informed therapeutic support
All services are provided by a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Connecticut.
2. Consent to Treatment
By participating in therapy, you voluntarily agree to receive behavioral health services, including equine-assisted sessions when applicable. You understand that:
* Therapy may involve discussing difficult emotions, trauma, or life stressors.
* Participation is collaborative and may include non-traditional therapeutic approaches.
* Equine-assisted sessions involve interactions with horses and take place in outdoor farm environments. Safety protocols are followed, but you understand there is some inherent physical risk.

3. Telehealth Services
If you receive therapy through video or phone sessions:
